Genius loci

In Finland there is a spot on the rocks, just below the house, where over the span of the various seasons I often sit wrapped in silence photographing the scenery around me. Here I spend entire hours mainly at night: this rock is my panoramic balcony from which I shoot the same landscape that, however, changes continually as the light changes, at dawn, at sunset, in the morning mist, on a full-moon night, after a rainstorm. The absolute protagonist is the small island which is reflected on the motionless waters of the lake, and which becomes my Genius Loci.
