On the Road
In the past the Road represented the heart of the voyage between different, faraway Countries. Military armies, merchants and pilgrims in the Middle Ages, famous explorers and migrating populations have left the tracks of their travelling through centuries. In the Sixties the pursuit of a new identity and the restless nature of youngsters induced the new generation of travelers to get on the Road again. Nowadays the Road, mostly understood as “highway”, is son of our times when rush is indispensable. It does not matter if not much is seen and perceived while moving from one place to another. In the images that are proposed the Road instead, in symbiosis with the landscape, still represents an ancient approach to the voyage.
